Activities around the racetrack

Here we would like to introduce you to what you can do here on the Ring around the car race. We're just saying - the Nürburgring is the perfect place for every enthusiastic racing heart.

In the Motorsport Museum you have a wide range of possibilities to spend your free time:

Take part in attractions such as a drive on the Nürbus and explore the race track and the Eifler landscape around the ring. All those who want to experience the 24h race but don't want to have time on this date have the possibility to experience the race in HD via virtual reality glasses. You can also enjoy the latest films in 3D and 2D in the "ring°werk" cinema every day.

Go-kart track

The Indoor Karting track at the Nürburgring is a great place to accelerate. The total length of the track is about 400 m and a maximum speed of 50 km/h can be reached. Altogether there are 6 curves to the right and 5 curves to the left and there is a triple lane guidance system.

Driving safety centre

In the DSC there are a lot of possibilities for beginners or car lovers who want to learn more about your car. Can you say that you have complete control of your car? Take part in one of the many trainings.

Driving training, drift training, motorcycle training, car training and much more are offered.

Backstage tour

Have you always wanted to know what's really happening in the pit lane, where up to 500 journalists do their work during Formula 1, or how to get down to business in the paddock?

Have we aroused your curiosity? Then you've come to the right place, because the backstage tours take you behind the scenes and you'll experience a very close racing experience.
